Unfortunately, on my morning beach walk I came across this poor chap near the Leisure centre. It was amongst 100+ mixed Common and Sandwich terns. I only had a small camera, but as I approached it made its way back onto the retreating tide. I suspect it will take to the sandbars along with the other birds.
