The Lincolnshire List awaits its first melodious warbler.
There has been one on Fair Isle this week.
Not proposing this identification. Just saying.
As Stuart comments, one for the experts

Scrap my guess of Marsh Warbler.
Now I am more positive it's a juvenile Garden Warbler!

Now it's not like me to stir the pot but don't you think its odd that no experts have been on to tell us what they think this bird is? ![;) ;)]()
Could it be that this bird is a rarity and they don't want to say on here so that AH gets the honours, they prefer to visit the site and hopefully find it themselves and they get the honours.
Just a suggestion you know lol.
Right time to get another couple of guides out and delve deeper.

Acrocs have flat foreheads, which this one doesn't seem to have, and this one has a bland face, typical of a Garden Warbler. The fringing is worrying though.

I agree, so think I will go with Seychelles Warbler !!!!! If only it had been a Magpie, much easier.

I'm going to have a go having consulted three guides,
first choice is a juvenile Marsh Warbler and second choice either a juvenile or moulting Garden Warbler.
