Hello Nick,
I'll print off what you have written and try it another time, thanks.
I've decided to put sightings on weekly or more rather than at long periods. But I will try what you said and when I have will mention it on here.
I'll bet there were quite a few smiling at my rant, I was just now when I edited the rant pages.
Regards
John

John, this used to happen to me on a music forum I use. I got round it by 'copying' the full text BEFORE I pressed the submit/send button.
If you get to the end of your post, then hold down the left hand mouse button/key and using your other finger pull the cursor back through the whole text until it is all highlighted in blue. Then, hold the right mouse button down and select the 'copy' option.
Send/submit your post. If it times out, then just select another fresh page and at the cursor press the right mouse button. It will offer a 'paste' option. Select this and it will put up your previous lost post in its entirety. Send/submit it again.
Hope this helps and hope you can understand.
