Replied by John Walker on topic Rimac
The saltmarsh lagoon is known as Rimac lagoon and is mainly salty or brackish .
the large Rimac freshwater area is part of the Dunescape project to regenerate new freshwater marsh vegetation and only
completed last autumn by removing c 10 to 15 cms of surface peaty soil and vegetation to expose a base more sandy layer
hence its currently a freshwater lake.

This afternoon, a Great White Egret on the large lagoon and two Avocet on the smaller lagoon out on the marsh.
If these lagoons have names, please let me know.
