South of Crook Bank a sea watch from first light on a receding tide saw 344 Red-throated Diver and 3 Great-crested Grebe fly north. Another 7 Red-throated Diver, a Great-crested Grebe and 40 Common Scoter were on a calm sea.

Of note on a quiet Saltfleetby/Theddlethorpe NNR were a Goldcrest, 2 Stonechat and 10 Fieldfare. 2 skeins of (50) and (30) Pinkfeet flew north whilst a skein of 85 (from photo) flew south.

The swans in the field to the north of Huttoft Pit showed very well and revealed 121 Whooper Swan (98 adults and 23 immature), 34 Mute Swan and the lone adult Bewick’s Swan was still present. An adult female Marsh Harrier flew inland.
