Last year at this time I would have said the Black Bridge in Hartsholme Park Lincoln where they posed beautifully for weeks > this year I haven't seen one yet
In other words it is just a matter of luck and being in the right place at the right time
Good luck to you

Hello everyone

I’m new to the forum and really to the world of birding as my main focus was always models, but I’ve always loved wildlife and so during the lockdowns I found a new love for my photography.
I have been to a few places searching for the kingfisher but only ever caught glimpses as they fly past at a rate of knots, can anybody give me a clue where they may show well so I can manage to photograph one, I’m in Scunthorpe I regularly travel to far ings and reserves around this area and I have met quite a few really nice people who have helped me in my new found passion.

regards
