Pond to the south side of Thoresby Bridge, 16.00hrs
Driving by I glimpsed black and white bird on water, turned round for further investigation despite weather.

11 Goosanders (6 male - 5 female on far end of pond

3 Mallard
Grey Heron
Moorhen
2 Blackheaded Gull

Weather conditions atrocious Very strong squally wind and heavy rain. Difficult to keep steady scope.
Birds very mobile, frequently out of water to bank and back.
Try and visit again tomorrow as weather forecast better.
Bad conditions but well worth it.
