We called in about 3pm and there was an Egyptian goose amongst the Greylags, too

I too thought I had seen a second, after seeing the resident around the bridge. Wondered if it had moved, but then saw ours still near the bridge on our lap.
I see the Pochards are starting to sport rather striking 'spring' plumage now too.

Seeing double was created by Jim Wright
Having not seen the Cleethorpes boating lake goosander for a week or so, I was pleased to see it as conspicuous as ever this morning.

Today, there was also an almost identical bird swimming with the gadwall on the lake in Cleethorpes country park. I thought it might be the boating lake goosander that had flown in, but when I doubled back that bird had scarcely moved.
