:) I was having a senior moment there Alan. I was that used to quoting the Little ring from Cress that its permanently stuck in my head. Yes, just Ringed plovers this time.

Had the usual dawn walk and followed the retreating tide line, and some great birding near the Leisure centre. 
40 + Ringed plover
500+ Sanderling
1000+ Knot
30+ Brent
40+ Shelduck
2 Bar tailed godwits
umpteen Redshank and L Egrets
Kingfisher around Buck beck outflow
Sparrowhawk and Kestrel over cleared dune area
30/40 Snow buntings constantly flitting over head
