This week's clearance of sea buckthorn and other scrub ffom the Cleethorpes foreshore nature reserve has not been pretty to watch, but it has created some feeding opportunities, at least temporarily, for several species including stonechat, robin, dunnock, pied wagtail, magpie, carrion crow and black-headed gull.
Perhaps come spring, wheatears and ring ouzels might put in an appearance or two.
