Fine sunny day at 1320 to 1420, Elm House and adjacent HLS east of Marr dyke

Pink foot geese c 1100, wigeon c280, teal 78 ,shelduck 4, canada goose 264, greylag 7, mallard 22 ,
fieldfare 41, redwing 32,starling c 260, lapwing c300, stonechat 3, crow 8, rook 27, stock dove 6, buzzard 11, marsh harrier 1over.

The local pink feet geese have been feeding on the above 200 acres site for the past week or so
Peter Roworth took several photos of aerial flock yesterday as as they were flushed by a nearby gas gun and counted 3380 .
Also on local semi flooded grassland c 480 wigeon .
