Marston STW - Fieldfare influx

Late morning visit on 11th December c.200 Fieldfare and 50 Redwing in hawthorn hedges along path and in adjacent fields. Good to see them back in numbers. Also Female marsh harrier around scrape (the orange tagged one) and on main pool c.200 teal with scattering of wigeon. About ten Snipe flushed by a fox, also small group of green sandpipers. 2 Grey wagtail, water rail heard not seen. On leek field by parking about 350 greylag geese. No curlews present this time including on goose field.
