grainthorpe haven and horseshoe point area

25th oct grainthorpe very quite 2 kestrel - buzzard - sprawk approx 200 starling -few mipits usual egrets redshank curlew etc but around the pumphouse area about 15/20 blackbirds, not the usual habitat for the species must have been in off's. then a slow crawl down the road to horseshoe point and where the road splits to go to the pig farm a largish flock of chaffinch feeding on the field in the short stubby stuff apprx 150 birds flighty and mobile thought i saw a possible brambling among them had a very brief flash of a white rump patch but could not find it again, dam things would not be still lol cheers terry whalin
