Single Ruff on Teal Lake this morning, Little Stints and Dunlin seem to have moved on. Great Egret, Common Sand and 3 Ringed Plovers also on Teal. A pair of Kingfishers together on Grebe Lake, possible third bird too. Lastly, a probable Bittern in the NE corner of Grebe. I was walking north on the track away from Pike Drain, heading towards the railway tracks, when I had a very brief view of what must have been a Bittern, relocating infront of the reed beds 150m away. I only say probable, as it was split second, corner of my eye stuff - flying piece of brown carpet came to mind. Went back for better views, then saw a heron in the vicinity which made me doubt myself. Anyways. I'm in Lincoln for a few months, live in Brisbane, Australia normally. Hit me up if anybody makes it to Brisbane in the coming years (when you're allowed in), and I'll show you a few local spots.
