Rob Scott and i walked the Tealby to Walesby and return circuit taking the low route to Walesby and returning via the Risby top route 4.2 miles
in hot (28oc by 1200 hrs)  sunny conditions
Sightings included 2 Ravens circling and perching in a tree  Risby top and 3 common buzzards circling over
3 pied flycatchers feeding avidly in a large copse of hawthorns in the steep sided valley approaching Risby
and a nuthatch calling in a stand of tall mature deciduous trees also on Risby top.

I have seen 2  ( pair) ravens in the Donnington on Bain  Welton le wold area several times over the past 4 years and believe the Risby birds are a different 2, (pair?)
