27.08.21.  3 willow warblers in the garden this morning.

Interestingly, on the 25th., a mixed flock of 6 long-tailed tits, 3 blue tits, 1 great tit, 1 willow warbler, a robin and a dunnock all worked the garden for about an hour. This shows there must be an advantage to working in a flock, especially as the dunnock chose to forage in the trees with the others rather than on the lawn. Isn’t nature wonderful!
