On May 30th Andy Chappell ringed a nestling Sand Martin at the Mid Lincs RG artificial bank in the Bain valley.  It was ringed about 7-10 days before it would have fledged.  We found out today that it was re-trapped on June 30th. at Nanjizal near Lands End some 529km. SW!
