Another 20 minutes at 16.00 today. The wood sandpiper still showing well, 1 juv. Little ringed plover, 5 snipe plus the usual 30 or so lapwing and redshank. Also a common sandpiper on the outlet.

20 minute visit at 14.30 produced 1 wood sandpiper, 1 green sandpiper, 2 snipe, 2 common sandpiper, 2 black- tailed Godwit, 11 dunlin, 30 lapwing, 12 redshank, 2 little egret, and a little grebe.

Todays birds - 2 Little Grebe, 1Gt White Egret, 1 Hobby, 3 Greenshank, 3 LRP, 4 Dunlin, 4 Green Sand, 12 Common Sand with some on the river outlet also, 1 Barn Owl and a Short-eared Owl on the saltmarsh.
2 Egyptian Geese and a Knot on the 20th.
