I spoke to 2 non birder photographers this morning at Rimac 090521, they told me they photographed 2 great white 1 little egret
and a heron they didn’t,t know but not a grey, later identified as purple , these all in Freshwater marsh bank holiday Monday.

Owen Beaumont nnr warden covered south from Churchill lane to south end of nnr I covered north to Rimac early morning 0520 onwards
OB sightings included 2 f wheaters , 1 wood warbler, 1 tree pipit 2 turtle doves 3 cuckoos 2 swift’s,
JW 3 f wheatears  4 cuckoos , 1 turtle dove , 1 swift , 3 swallows , also,1 garden warbler , 20 whitethroats , 6 sedge warblers, 5 chiffchaffs
, 7 blackcap,  6 lesser whitethroats , 2 willow warblers, 2 Reed warblers all in song. also 1 f sparrowhawk, 1 great spotted woodpecker,
