Good to see you are out and about again Roger. We also had Red Kite over the field just as you drive past MSQ on Saturday. Watched it while having a coffee!

It is at Kirton in Lindsey. Follow Ings Road, DN21 4BX past the Klassic Park Community Centre and it is on the right past the railway bridge. The road ( only just ! ) is a dead end and we generally park near the bridge and walk down. It sounds more than it is though. The farmer decided to create a small wetland area and managedto get a little funding for it. There is 1 hide currently with no access through the gate to it because of Covid but it is in the wrong position and is not worth going in. As you walk down the road there is water on the right with a small island. Like all birding it can be very quiet at times but does produce some good birds if your luck is in ! Takes about an hour to walk the road there and back.
