Know where you mean re loop I often did that and park at Sands Lane end, handy area there. Long time since I saw the Idle Valley, remember having Nightingale there just off the bank and in the trees. Be a nice change for you.

Thanks

Great news if you can get out and about. Not a clue what the OS reference is, we just start at the feeding area then drive straight down the road to the Trent ( this is where the Goosander were but no sign on last visit ) turn right along Trentside and then next right near the old chapel and basically do a giant loop by turning right at the small crossroads again .On that quiet road often plenty of birds in hedgerow and usually one of the first places we see Yellow Wagtail. No idea about roundabout at motorway as we keep away from that area!
Went out of area yesterday though to Idle Valley, there was a massive movement of Sand Martins.

Brilliant news re Tree Creeper!
What OS ref are you doing for Trentside? Was the Goosander on the Trent or ?

Fingers crossed its a fine day on wednesday, am at doctors and when have got petrol tank filled up hope to have a wee run round BB etc, first time since late January 2020 :)

Is the new roundabout under construction just after the golf club where the M181 goes under the road?

Thanks
