I had a walk round the Reserve this morning.  Just to the right of the path as you go in there were about thirty birds flew out of the old heather into the Scots Pine.  They flew down again to feed and I saw the majority were Lesser Redpolls with a few Siskins intermixed.  This is the first time I have seen them feed in the heather.  Other birds seen or heard:-
Nuthatch.          4
Long-tailed Tit.  2
Chaffinch.         5 ( all singing males)
Robin.               6.          "       "
