Kingfishers Buck Beck

A dawn walk along Buck Beck towards the lock gate revealed good showing of a kingfisher , looking rather cold against the snow covered bank side .Managed to get a couple of snaps which is a first as he's usually very timid. I continued a walk towards the outer dunes and saw another kingfisher in the small pools on route to and from the tidal beach . It must be difficult for them in this cold snap.
