A combination of a blizzard and a sandstorm made visibility so poor that I saw nothing of note (in fact nothing at all) on outer beach today.

On the saltmarsh, there were 10 yellowhammers - my highest count of the winter so far.

On the grassy area to the south of the boating lake, there were four fieldfares, one song thrush and one robin.
