Walking through Cleethorpes cemetery just before dusk yesterday, 21st, surprised to see at least 15 Long Tailed Tits flitting through the trees. There were a few more but too mobile to count. Certainly lifted the Spirits on a cold and blustery day.

Regarding the interesting Posts re: Curlews, the wet fields adjacent Buck Beck, Cleethorpes always attract Curlews in varying numbers. This season the first one I noted arrived on the 10th October. Numbers increased up to 68 on the 5th January 21. Daily average is around 50, mostly recorded at midday, but surprisingly 0 yesterday. High tide around 11:00 hrs.
