Interesting.

In most winters we get between 12 and 17 of these Nordic blackbirds foraging daily in our Cleethorpes garden, but this year there have seldom been more than three.

11 blackbirds in our back lawn in North Somercotes yesterday, only 3 of which were female. This suggests an lnflux from the continent. That’s the most blackbirds I’ve ever seen in one lump!
