Numbers dropped over the past couple of days. We're down to 53 this morning, from 64 the day before.

This morning we counted 104 curlew, all along the far perimeter fence at Havelock. Interestingly, we also counted 34 oyster catchers with them too.

As curlews are in steep decline any counts on Humber or north Lincs coast would be useful.
I find early mornings starting 15 mins before sunrise ( about 0745 currently ) the best time to count
regards John

I back onto Havelock school field in Grimsby, and count about 100 every morning. At one sitting we did see 183. Not bad for a school field.
