I think it was the same bird that had relocated to the boating lake today. Here, its cousins were far more sociable than in the country park - in fact it was getting more than a few admiring glances.

Gull plumage was created by Jim Wright
Interesting to see this bird at Cleethorpes Country Park coming into breeding plumage on December 31. It was shunned by the numerous other gulls. Bit of envy perhaps?
