No sign of the GWE around midday but a surprise Green Sandpiper flew into the field nearest the car cark then flew away calling into the caravan/motorhome place next door.

A Great Egret made a brief appearance on site this morning. First seen feeding on the far bank of the lagoon, before moving onto the "field" scrapes.
It had departed by the time I left site at approx 10:30am.
