Strangely, virtually nothing showing along the Belvoir Rd patch for the last two weeks. The same, I’m told of further down. Maybe the irregular appearance of a Sparrowhawk kept things quiet.
Yesterday was nearly another fruitless walk, only enlightened near the end by a small flock of 7 Long Tailed Tits (20+ recorded on the 7th Oct.)
With them were 4 Blue Tits and a bonus of a Goldcrest, a first for me on this patch.
Over, were 2 Mute Swans and a Common Buzzard
