Do rose-coloured starlings ever turn up in these murmurations or is this flight-flocking alien to their behaviour?

An afternoon walk along Louth Navigation Canal from the weir towards the sea lock showed 2 little grebe and south of the canal early formations of starlings gathering in adjacent field , joined at one point at rest with a buzzard no more than a foot away on a telegraph pole , with over 100 starlings seated on the line . Also a large flock of larger birds I could only think were fieldfare , though can not confirm , for a short period they seemed to form adjacent movement before the larger birds flew inland . Wish I’d brought my camera out , you can guarantee seeing these things when you havn’t got it .
