another count of pink foot geese 4150 on local stubbles 161020 and 4700 roosting on nnr foreshore 171020 per Peter Roworth
no barnacles seen

1 dusky warbler heard only in thick growth c 300 m north Churchill lane car park several now recorded on Lincs coast
a scattering of all 4 thrush species c 2500 starlings, 1 long eared owl, 3 sparrowhawks , few warblers seen .

scattered small flocks 8 to 20 , of all 4 thrushes also bramblings , siskins, rock pipits etc
now 22 barnacles on stubbles with pinkies, this in first 90 minutes of daylight.

2 brown 1 male marsh harrier 1 merlin 1 s e owl, over foreshore 2 little owls calling from bale stack farmyard Churchill Lane
1 ring ouzel 3 brambling in dunes nearby .

counted the geese again last evening, 101020,
a total of c 2650 pink foots and 9 barnacles most feeding on stubbles near dunes and Churchill Lane Theddlethorpe

the pink foot goose roost /local feeding flock is now c 1450
also seen in recent days 4 siskin ,3 se owls, 3 marsh harriers , 1 hen harrier, 3 common buzzards, 1 little owl
5 lesser redpoll, 2 jack and 21 common snipe , a scattering of rock pipits ,
A strange calling bird flew over dunes yesterday and when seen it was an African grey parrot , caused mayhem
with local jackdaws and magpies .
