The warning lights turned out to be the TPMS = tyre pressure needs sorting which is odd cos previous week it had a full service and they were checked, anyway went to garage top of road and both the front tyres needed air, then pressed the TPMS and all was well.

Well this day has been a long time coming but main reason it happened is that my car battery had gone flat and was advised to go on long run to charge it up. A long run to me is a trip to Scotland or Wales! Thankfully they meant a trip to Donny or similar. I decided a trip to Barton was more to my liking even though I wouldn't be leaving car. So set off towards the M180 and approaching Barnetby Top decided not to go along the A15 but to turn left and go towards Elsham. Then on to towards Bonby Carrs which is where I ended up, had no intention of visiting Worlaby Carrs even if the road had been mended which I doubted.

Driving down lane first bird I saw was a Grey Heron side of the dyke, the road down is in a state in places in time it will be as bad as Worlaby sadly. Then noticed each field on the right has a sign saying BEWARE OF BULL I added a four letter word each time I read it beginning with S and ending with T lol, there was some cattle in two fields. Then saw the following birds a female Yellowhammer, Buzzard, Whitethroat pair, juv Starlings, quite a few corvid and what looked to be a large Robin. Plus quite a few Small Whites and an odd dragon.

Only stayed an hour but really enjoyed the freedom and fresh air. The last time I came out was a week before Boris announced lockdown and that wasn't to birdwatch, my last birding day was to Blacktoft on the 26th Feb. Ten miles from home two warning lights came on but no way was I stopping.

Roll on next trip out!

Regards
