Mid-morning today, there were three wheatears on the beach outside Cleethorpes leisure centre - a favourite stop-off point for this species in autumn.

A fourth was flitting along the railings outside the new static vans along the foreshore walk.

On the leisure centre roof, there were about 50 house martins taking a breather.
