Cleethorpes little terns

Little terns were conspicuous along Cleethorpes tideline at high tide 10am today.

Groups of up to 14 were on the move. I probably saw at least 100.

Slightly fewer were sandwich terns, but I didn’t see any common/arctic etc.

Over an hour, I also saw about 20 swifts over the beach/saltmarsh.

Waders of many species in abundance.
