Weekend sightings: Covenham, Humberston, Tetney Lock

Sightings at Covenham Reservoir yesterday (10-11am) included 3 common sandpiper, 10 great crested grebe, five yellow wagtail and 20-plus coot.

At same time today, there was 1 greenshank at Humberston Fitties pools, 1 corn bunting, 2 common sandpiper and 1 cuckoo at Tetney Lock, plus at least 20 yellow wagtail (mostly juvenile) and 4 kestrel (two perched on mini- haystacks) between Tetney Lock and Humberston Yacht Club.
