Chuffed to spot two house martin nests, both occupied, on a small new housing estate in Humberston. Happy that no one has tried to dislodge them.

On the Fitties pools, there were a minimum of 97 b-h gulls at rest, but no waders in evidence (apart from a couple of little egrets).

At Tetney Lock at least one corn bunting was still singing.
