Maybe there were five originally. Today was my first look at the lake for two or three weeks. Either I missed a couple of cygnets or they’ve been lost.

I was pleased about the gr. warbler. At this time of spring/summer, a singing bird is particularly encouraging.

Grasshopper warbler reeling loudly in Cleethorpes Country Park at 10 am today. On the lake, the three mute swan cygnets seem in good shape.
