Evening
Re house martins yes, seem very late and in very low numbers I agree. Only seen single figures so far and still scarce

Saw 2 House Martin's 22nd April, only one other sighting of 3 since then. Numbers do seem down around Sturton by Stow.

Showing well at Manby wetlands early this morning. Also teal, gadwall, mallard, one lone whooper, a few avocets and one lapwing. Not as good as this time last year.

Yesterday at Paradise Pool a good selection of swallows, house martins and swifts, and one Greenshank.

What’s going on with house martins this year? 12th. May is the very latest I’ve ever seen the first one. Has anyone else noticed low or absent numbers?

Regards Pete
