Reported by Chris Bell...

I visited Cleethorpes last Saturday (the 13th) and at about 11AM found the Snow Bunting flock on the outer sand bar.
They were in the sand dunes rather than out on the sand making them difficult to observe. At first I thought it was a mixed flock of c.100 birds, however when they flew it was obvious that they were all, or nearly all, Snow Bunting.
On Saturday out on the outer dunes area there were many Skylarks, a 100 strong Linnet flock that didn’t sound that it contained any Twite, Yellowhammer and Reed Bunting but in lowish numbers, and try as I might none of the latter species could be upgraded to rarer species, and also a few Stonechat. Of course in the area there were many Redshank, and a few Curlew and Little Egret.
