Nuthatch in Dunsby

On my exercise walk this morning I saw a Nuthatch in a lime tree in Dunsby village. I phoned my friend and fellow birder Hugh Dorrington who then told me that he had heard it calling from his garden in the village. Hugh confirmed that it was a new record for his village, although they breed in woods only a mile away. He told me that it was the 2nd Dunsby record this week, as the farm reservoir has an Egyptian Goose amongst the Greylags and Canada Geese.
Incidentally, on my exercise walk I did not see another soul, so keeping a safe distance is no problem. The only problem with taking my daily exercise by walking from my home it inevitably it means that I cover the same ground very frequently, but maybe every jaunt will find something new.
Keep safe fellow birders.
