I got to see it for the first time today. Just where you said Jim, also at 4.30pm. at roughly high tide and again, not always in view

Finally caught up with the/a Cleethorpes purple sandpiper at high tide today (4.30 pm).

It was halfway along the rock armour whale’s tail on the Wonderland side.

Provided some good views, but it regularly crept out of vision.

Further along the rocks, I counted a minimum of 41 turnstone.

Thanks Sally - was able to connect on Monday thanks to your post. Showing well as you said and basically in the same place. Perfect light too. Didn't seem phased by the dog walkers or photographers either
