Thanks Joy. Yes I know about the Hornsea one but I always find Hornsea a frustrating place to watch as often the birds are at the far end of it. I am in Scunthorpe so easy enough to get there though.

Hi Alan, I guess you know about the Smew on Hornsea Mere that’s been there several weeks? It was reported on BirdGuides again yesterday.
I don’t know where you are in Lincolnshire, so maybe it’s too far...?

Does anyone know of any Smew in the region? I know there were a couple at Langford Lowfield but I am not sure if they are still there.
