Party of 10 snow buntings scuttling to and fro on outer beach at 11am today.. For such short-legged birds, they can shift remarkably quickly.

On boating lake, there were 15 pochard - 11 of them drakes.

On Chapmans Pond, there were two g-c grebes along with the customary herring and black-backed gulls.

On lake in country park, there was one g-c grebe . In my view, this species looks more impressive in its silvery winter plumage than when in breeding hue.
