Just a quick look along part of Buck Beck this morning before joining the Saturday morning scrum

14 resident species, highlight was
c60 - 80 Goldfinches over Country Park and briefly alighting in nearby tree tops.

Largest flock I’ve seen at this location, joy to see.

Surrounding land still filling with water and now attracting ducks, Gulls and the odd goose or two.

Merry Christmas to all LBC members.
