Further to John Walkers post yesterday the 1st winter Glaucous Gull was present today again near the dead seal carcass just north of the beach entrance from Churchill Lane. It was there at least between 9.30 am and 10 am when it was flushed by a dog walker, and it flew off north.
Also on the tide line at nearby Brickyard Lane - 36 Barnacle Geese flew over going north.
