Excellent showing of Brent geese, shelduck and wader species (including 100+ ringed plover) between Cl'pes Leisure Centre and pier an hour before high tide this morning.

On the scrub bordering the outer beach were numerous reed buntings, goldfinches, linnets, starlings, plus a few skylarks, meadow pipits, yellowhammers and greenfinches.

Also a minimum of two each of house sparrow and stonechat..
