I have had multiple flocks of up to 6 Lesser Redpolls visiting my Ruskington garden this winter. Only caught and ringed one though so far, perhaps they are more cautious than Goldfinches, of which we have caught close to 200 since November.

Hi Martin
A very nice garden count. I have been having counts like that since 2013 (best of 64 counted from a photo) but my best this winter is only nine but better numbers come Feb, Mar and even Apr

You have omitted to say where your garden is - which is important to me as I am collecting sightings from the Forum for the database for next years Bird Report. If you could let me know please
Chris

Up to 30 Lesser Redpolls visiting my garden feeders this winter, a great spectacle.
