A Great White Egret flying east just above the beck between Rippingale and Dunsby fens at 0800 this morning. A pair of Swallows still feeding young in the nest in Ruppingale and 2 Chiffchaffs singing in the village - one in my garden. 2 more Chiffchaffs in song in Dunsby and at least 20 Meadow Pipits in the area.
