Grey plover abundance was created by Jim Wright
Some 300+ grey plover far out on Cleethorpes Central Beach this afternoon including (viewed from afar) this ringed bird.
Also 100+ ringed plover, plus a few curlew and bartails.
Later:
Richard du Feu in Lancashire reports that the bird was ringed in March last year or this year at Formby Point on Merseyside.
